Lorenzo Giotti (Italian, b. 1957 in Florence), photographer and photography historian, currently teaches Photography at LABA, Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, Florence, Italy.

 

He has been teaching Photography and Digital Photography at the University of Florence and at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze since the late 90s.

 

He has published studies on advertising and fashion photography and on panoramic photography, a field which he pioneered in Italy, making several virtual tours of Italian cultural heritage Institutions, among which the recent VR tour of the Casa Buonarroti Museum, Florence.

 

In the last 15 years, he has had some exhibitions of his personal works, both individual and collective, in Italy and abroad.

 

He loves music, from Monteverdi to the Rolling Stones via Puccini and Miles Davis, vintage BMW motorcycles, and trail running.
